A judge in Alaska has rejected a lawsuit filed by Donald Trump's Department of Justice aimed at blocking certification of the vote should the Republican Senate candidate Dan Sullivan lose, according to CNN.
The case has placed Alaska at the center of a scandal stemming from confusion between two candidates sharing the same name: the conservative Sullivan and another Dan Sullivan, who was reportedly sought out by Democrats in an effort to draw votes away from Republicans.
