Blanca Suárez and Mario Casas have appeared together in a new social media post, seven years after the end of their romantic relationship. The image has drawn attention because the former couple posed side by side wearing shirts featuring references to “Three Steps Above Heaven,” the film that became closely associated with their time together.
Suárez shared the photograph on her Instagram Stories alongside the cryptic message “Something is coming.” The post prompted speculation among followers, although the reunion is connected to a professional project rather than a revival of their relationship.
The actors are set to appear together in “En nombre de otro,” a new Netflix suspense thriller directed by Oriol Paulo. The cast also includes Eduard Fernández, Alexandra Jiménez, Nicolás Francella and Ana Wagener. The film is scheduled to premiere on the platform on December 11.
Casas and Suárez began their relationship in 2018 after several years of friendship and having worked together on different productions. They first met during the filming of “Carne de neón” and later shared the screen in “El barco,” where they played Ulises and Ainhoa. They also worked together on “Mi gran noche” and “El bar.”
Their romance ended in late 2019, after which both continued on separate paths while maintaining a friendly relationship. Their latest collaboration has renewed public interest in their past, but the reunion described in the post is tied to their work on the upcoming film.
