The first day of the 2026 Enem (Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio) is scheduled for next Sunday, November 8, followed by a second session on November 15. The Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais (INEP) has issued critical guidelines for the five million registered participants, emphasizing strict adherence to the official schedule based on Brasília time.
Gates at testing centers will open at 12:00 PM and close promptly at 1:00 PM. The exams themselves are set to begin at 1:30 PM on both days. While the start times remain consistent, the conclusion of the tests varies by subject area. The session for languages, codes, and their technologies on November 8 will end at 7:00 PM, whereas the human sciences and technologies exam on November 15 is scheduled to conclude at 6:30 PM.
Specific adjustments apply to candidates in regions with time zones different from Brasília, including Acre, Amazonas, Rondônia, Roraima, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Fernando de Noronha. These students must verify local timing changes, which may involve starting earlier or later to align with the standard Brasília schedule.
Additionally, participants eligible for extended testing time, such as lactating individuals or those living with fibromyalgia, neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disabilities, or mental health conditions, are granted an extra hour. For these candidates, the exit times will be 8:00 PM on November 8 and 7:30 PM on November 15. Despite the extended duration for leaving, these students must still follow the standard entry rules and gate closing times applicable to all other examinees.
