Israel’s Change bloc met in Herzliya ahead of consultations on forming the next government, putting Gadi Eisenkot forward as its preferred candidate for the mandate. The gathering brought together leaders opposed to Benjamin Netanyahu.
Despite the bloc’s stated preference, it remains unclear whether it can secure the majority needed to form a government.
