Jane Fonda said she had supported 263 candidates in the U.S. midterm elections, describing them as candidates aligned with the environment and democracy. The Oscar-winning actor made the announcement on election day, saying the campaigns received funds raised through her organization, Jane Fonda Climate PAC.
In a post on Instagram, Fonda praised volunteers who canvassed door to door for the causes. She has also taken part in climate protests in recent years, the report said.
