A man was found dead in the Cabeça de Porco community in Taquara, in the Southwest Zone of Rio de Janeiro, in the early hours of Sunday, the 1st. According to residents, armed men entered the community and fired several shots.
The Military Police said officers from the 18th Military Police Battalion (Jacarepaguá) were called to respond to reports of gunfire on Rua Caituba. At the location, officers found a man dead with injuries caused by firearm discharges. The area was isolated for forensic examination.
The case is being investigated by the Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC).
