Márcia Goldschmidt has told followers that she remains hospitalized after a health scare, saying her test results were not what she had hoped for. The 64-year-old presenter has not disclosed what happened or how long she may stay in hospital.
In a post on Sunday night, Goldschmidt said she was receiving care and needed rest and strength. She added that she would share more about her condition once she had recovered.
In a subsequent video, she thanked followers for their support and said she felt accompanied by them while in hospital. In the post’s caption, she encouraged people to value life.
On Monday night, Goldschmidt also reflected in her Instagram Stories on the burden carried by women who are seen as strong, saying they can play down their own problems. “One day, the body cries out what the mouth has kept silent for years: ‘Enough, I can’t take it anymore,’” she wrote.
CNN Brasil said it had contacted Goldschmidt’s representatives but had not received a response by the time its report was published.
