The Multinational Force for Ukraine (MNF-U) will hold its first full-scale exercise in Poland from November 9 to 22. Named Koalicja, the Polish word for “coalition,” the exercise is designed to test whether participating forces can deploy and operate together in the field.

About 2,800 military personnel from Germany, Belgium, Spain, Estonia, France, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom and Sweden are expected to take part. The exercise was announced Tuesday in a joint statement by London and Paris, which lead the force.

Created in March 2025 and declared operational this summer, the MNF-U is intended to deploy rapidly after a ceasefire is signed and help Ukraine deter any future Russian aggression.
