Benjamin Netanyahu said he is open to dialogue aimed at forming a broad national government, after the Likud emerged as the largest party in the election, according to his statement.

Netanyahu said his objective was to build a government with his current partners and any other party willing to join, provided it does not support terrorism.

He also said that Israeli public opinion did not want a government dependent on Ra'am and the United Arab List, which he accused of supporting terrorism and rejecting the existence of the Jewish state.

“From the first day, we extended our hand toward forming a broad national government,” Netanyahu said, adding that a clear majority of Jewish public opinion had chosen Likud as the largest party and selected him to lead the next government.
