With the Black Friday shopping event scheduled for November 27, 2026, the Municipal Consumer Protection Program (Procon Aracaju) has released a comparative price survey covering the most sought-after products. The investigation focused on electronics, home appliances, smartphones, and furniture available in the main stores concentrated in the Aracaju city center.
The data indicates that smartphones exhibited the widest price range among all categories surveyed, with values fluctuating between R$ 1,000.76 and R$ 9,359.10. In the home appliance sector, refrigerators were found at prices ranging from R$ 2,269 to R$ 3,587.91, while four-burner stoves varied between R$ 560.28 and R$ 1,349. Smart TVs showed a price spread from R$ 1,139.05 to R$ 2,936.51, and notebooks were listed between R$ 2,299.08 and R$ 4,982.40.
Furniture prices also displayed notable variation during the survey. Three-seater reclining sofas ranged from R$ 1,249 to R$ 1,840.05. Single wardrobes were priced between R$ 699.98 and R$ 1,099, while four-person dining tables varied from R$ 424.99 to R$ 866.99.
Mariana Alves, coordinator of Studies, Research, and Education at Procon Aracaju, emphasized that this is the second consecutive year the agency has conducted this action in the city center. She noted that last year's initiative yielded positive results by reaching a significant number of people and ensuring transparency to prevent consumers from feeling misled. Alves explained that the process also serves as an inspection mechanism to verify if actual price reductions are being implemented.
Consumers with doubts or those wishing to file complaints can contact the service center via SAC 151 or by calling (79) 3179-6040. In-person assistance is available from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM at the agency's headquarters located at Avenida Barão de Maruim, 867, in the São José neighborhood.
