A violent shooting occurred on Monday, November 2, in the Santa Rosa 2 neighborhood of Valença, located in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The attack left one man dead and another injured.
According to the Military Police, officers arrived at the scene to find the body of an unidentified man who was already deceased. Authorities immediately isolated the area to allow the Civil Police forensic team to conduct their investigation.
During the response to the incident, police were informed that a second man had been shot in the same episode and was subsequently admitted to a local health facility. As of now, no updated information regarding the injured man's condition has been released.
The case has been registered at the Valença police station, which is currently working to determine both the authorship and the motive behind the crime.
