A huge billboard unveiled in Tehran’s busy Enghelab Square carries a direct threat against US President Donald Trump, declaring, “We will kill Trump.” The image shows him behind bars with his head bowed.

A second billboard nearby depicts Trump with Vice President JD Vance, US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Their faces are bloodied, their clothes torn, and tattered US and Israeli flags appear behind them.

Dozens of people gathered in the square, waving red flags and carrying banners reading, “There will be blood.” They also called for revenge for Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed in US-Israeli airstrikes on Tehran on February 28, according to the report.

Since the conflict began, posters and billboards mocking Trump and vowing revenge have appeared regularly across Tehran. An open-air display in the city’s northern Tajrish Square included paintings showing Trump lying on the ground with a bloodied face under a foot, and another with a bomb obscuring his face—a reference to René Magritte’s 1964 painting “The Son of Man.”
