The United States will mediate technical-level negotiations between Ukraine and Russia in Abu Dhabi on November 10–11, US envoy Steve Witkoff said in a post on X. He said the talks would advance President Donald Trump’s goal of ending the war.
Witkoff said the discussions would focus on postwar security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian interventions and steps toward peace.
He also said US negotiators would meet representatives of France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the European Union and NATO in Brussels this week to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine.
