Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is visiting Berlin amid a difficult situation for his country, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced. The two leaders are scheduled to meet at the Chancellery around midday.
The visit is Zelenskyy’s 12th to Germany since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. With Russia continuing its attacks, the United States is preparing new negotiations between the warring parties. Zelenskyy is seeking to secure support from Merz ahead of those talks.
