Iran’s chief negotiator in talks with the United States, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said Wednesday that Americans had rejected war in the 2026 midterm elections. He made the remarks after Republicans suffered a major defeat to Democrats, according to the report.

“Whether out of conscience or because of the cost of living, Americans said NO TO WAR, and we approve of this message,” Ghalibaf wrote on X.
