Russian drones are forcing residents to leave Ukraine’s Donbas, with Kramatorsk among the cities facing persistent danger. The city, described in the report as once home to millions, now has about 69,000 people sheltering from drone attacks.
A specialized police unit in Kramatorsk is trying to counter the aircraft. Its drone hunters use shotguns to bring down the flying devices. One member of the unit, identified as Denys, said there were no safe areas left in the city.
