A young woman died after being shot at a party in Inhumas, a municipality in Brazil’s Goiás state. The incident took place in the early hours of Monday, November 2, and the victim’s death was confirmed at the scene, according to authorities.
The Fire Department reported that the woman was struck by a gunshot to the head. The victim was identified as Indlly Milleny.
The Civil Police registered the case as homicide. The Inhumas Police Station is expected to investigate the circumstances of the shooting, while forensic examinations have been requested. Authorities have not yet determined the full sequence of events.
Family members and friends paid tribute to Milleny on social media. The location and time of her wake and burial had not been disclosed.
