Renata Saldanha, 34, winner of BBB 25, and her fiancé, Maike Allan, 32, announced on Sunday that they are expecting a boy. The couple shared the news during a gender-reveal celebration for their first child together.
“It’s a boy! Our little one is on the way and is already so loved by us and by all of you who are always with us,” the couple wrote in a joint social media post. They also asked for blessings for the new stage of their lives.
EVA Pacheco, a close friend who entered the reality show as Renata’s partner, delivered a speech during the celebration.
Renata and Maike met during last year’s edition of the reality show and made their relationship official after leaving the program. They announced on Friday that they were expecting their first child together.
The couple also became engaged in early October. Maike proposed at a cabin in Campos do Jordão, in the State of São Paulo, and shared images of the moment online. In the video, the two appear embracing and holding hands as Renata accepts the proposal.
The post used John Legend’s song “All of Me” as its soundtrack. In the caption, Maike celebrated the next step in their relationship, writing that they should continue choosing each other every day and that their “forever” was officially beginning.
