A joint operation involving the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM), the Military Police, and the Bragança Paulista city administration concluded early Monday morning with the shutdown of five irregular bars known as "adegas." The action, titled Operation Quiet Night, took place between 10:00 PM on Sunday and 4:30 AM on Monday, November 2.

Teams deployed to Lago do Taboão, Avenida Alpheu Grimello, and Rua Teixeira conducted inspections targeting both traffic violations and the operational compliance of bars and similar establishments. During the initial phase from 10:00 PM to midnight, agents focused specifically on monitoring vehicles and drivers. The GCM recorded 14 traffic citations and seized one vehicle during this period.

The Military Police identified three instances where individuals refused inspection procedures, one driver operating without a license, and a vehicle in poor condition. In these cases, the vehicles were released to licensed drivers present at the scene.

After midnight, the operation shifted focus to inspecting bars and similar venues. Authorities discovered two unauthorized establishments at Lago do Taboão and three more on Rua Teixeira that lacked permission to operate during late-night hours. All five locations were closed by the enforcement teams. While the city administration did not specify additional sanctions against the owners, a municipal statement noted that the operation aims to strengthen oversight, prevent irregularities, and ensure public tranquility for residents and visitors.
