The seventh edition of the Premis Barcelona Restauració was held this evening, honoring neighborhood and local restaurants across several categories. The event’s honorary recognition went to Via Veneto, the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi restaurant run by the Monje family.

Fishology, in Eixample, won the award for Gastronomic Quality. The jury recognized its recovery and reinterpretation of ancestral preservation techniques, its contribution to reducing food waste and its innovative dishes based on seasonal, local products.

Arume, in Ciutat Vella, received an award for its integration into the neighborhood. The restaurant has maintained an affordable daily menu there for more than a decade, while preserving the gastronomic and literary legacy of Manuel Vázquez Montalbán. Its collaboration with theaters and cultural organizations, as well as its contribution to local employment, was also highlighted.

Nectari, also in Eixample, won the Sustainability Award for its inclusive approach, including the creation of what the awards describe as Catalonia’s first menu adapted for people with autism.

The Service Award went to Windsor, in Eixample, in recognition of two decades of work based on professionalism, personal attention, care for detail and coordination between its dining room, kitchen and cellar.

La Medusa 73, located inside the Mercat del Ninot, received the award for Barcelona’s market restaurants. Its offering is known for dishes such as rice specialties and oven-baked fish, as well as for its seasonal fresh fish and seafood, which customers can buy or eat at the market.

Via Veneto, founded in 1967, was selected for the honorary recognition as one of Barcelona’s most emblematic restaurants. The establishment, which once counted Salvador Dalí among its regular customers, has held a Michelin star and has been led in the kitchen for years by chef David Andrés.
