Banco do Brasil experienced significant service instability on the morning of Tuesday, November 3, prompting numerous user complaints regarding login difficulties and payment failures. According to data from Downdetector, a platform that monitors website and application status, the disruptions began around 8:00 AM Brasília time. The situation escalated quickly, reaching a peak at 9:30 AM with more than 6,000 reported incidents.

The majority of these complaints, accounting for 83% of reports, were related to the functionality of the Banco do Brasil mobile application. A smaller segment of users, representing 7% each, reported issues accessing Internet Banking and difficulties during the login process. By approximately 11:00 AM, the volume of new reports began to decline. On social media platforms, customers described an inability to complete payments and struggles to open the app entirely.

While some clients noted in Downdetector comment sections that access had been normalized, others continued to face login hurdles. In response to inquiries from CNN Brasil, Banco do Brasil confirmed that its digital channels were operating normally again by the time of the report.

The Pix instant payment system also encountered disruptions, though on a much smaller scale than the bank's own services. Downdetector recorded slightly more than 150 complaints regarding Pix around 9:00 AM. These issues were primarily categorized as problems with making payments (36%), accessing banking apps via mobile devices (34%), and executing transfers (18%).
